#INDO126: Parang Nabur Sword from Borneo #INDO126:
Parang Nabur sword from Borneo. These traditional, but European influenced
swords were used by the Sea Dayak tribes and often found up near Sarawak.
The blade has fine workmanship with both open work details and chiseled
designs. The handle is wood with a cast bronze hand guard that is missing
the knuckle guard. Previously sold at Christies Amsterdam. 19th century,
