#INDO128: Indonesian Parang Bengkok sword from Bali or Java. This unusual weapon has a very well made heavy blade that is 5/16" thick at the back edge, and 2 3/4" wide near the tip. The handle is wood and has a red lacquer like finish. This sword is published in the book "Islamic Weapons" by Anthony Tirri as Figure #300-B. 19th century, Indonesia, 33 3/4" overall with a 19" blade..........$450.00
