| #INDO130: 19th century Rencong / Rentjong knife of the Aceh peoples of Sumatra. A very nice quality example of an unusual weapon. The handle is made of a single piece of bent horn, and the blade is very well forged with a hollow ground fuller. The scabbard is original with fine detail, and just a little bit of cracking near the top. This is a large piece measuring 17 ½”: overall with a 9” blade, with the handle 5” across the back. 19th century, Sumatra, Indonesia……………..$350.00 |
