Very large and high quality Moro Punal/Gunong knife with 8 1/4" double edged blade. The wood handle has nice grain and a good patina. The silver sleeve and guard is of very high quality and shows the Arabic workmanship as found on Arabian Jambiya. The blade shows some pattern, including a hardened edge, both brass and copper inlay, plus a floral talisman carved into the blade. The scabbard with silver fittings is original and in good condition with a small dent at the bottom. 13 3/4" overall, late 19th or very early 20th century
