Rare Southern Philippine double edged Panabas. Good quality 17" blade has the top edge sharp half way back, and shows a hardened edge. The wood handle has a good patina from age and use, and has been wrapped with twine in a traditional looking way at a later date. 32 1/2" overall, 19th or early 20th century
