#PH210: Northern Philippine gong handle in the form of a double-sided figure and two horse heads on a custom brass base. This beautifully carved piece has a tuft of horsehair at the top, and a great patina from age and use. It is made of two separate pieces and would have had a brass gong hanging from the cord that was played for ceremony and dance. One of the horse faces has been glued back into place. 19th century Ifugao people of Northern Luzon, Philippines, 5 ½” wide by 6” tall………………..$1500.00
