#PH306: Unusual Moro kris sword with high quality fancy inlay blade. The 17 wave blade has both silver inlay, and a twisted copper/brass wire decorating the blade, as well as some unusual color differentiation lines in the metal near the base of the blade like patterns in the iron.  These line patterns were only visible after a light etch was done to the blade. The wood handle is decorated with silver and the same twisted and hammered copper/brass mix wire, as well as natural twine. The ganja in NOT a separate piece of metal, but it is highly decorated with inlay on the sides and back edge. The one piece ganja and sharp points of the blade waves points to an early 20th century sword, but it is unusually high quality workmanship for a later sword. I believe that this sword was made for an important person, but was also a fighting weapon for use. Unfortunately there is no scabbard. Early 20th century, 27 ½” overall with a 23” blade…………Sold
