#PH311: Unusual ball handled Moro kris sword with pattern blade.

This high quality 19th century fighting kris has a burl wood handle in the
form of a round ball that has a good dark patina from age and use. A
rare form of handle that I have not seen very often. The original
twine wrap is in good condition with some minor losses, and the
single stirrup is silver. The blade has a strong contrast pattern of
a large hardened edge and more flexible core, and the ganja is a
separate piece of metal. The old original scabbard has missing
material on both sides of the top section, and has some cracks. 19th
century, 26 ½” overall with a 21 ¼” blade………………Sold
