#PH316: Moro Barong sword with long blade.
The handle is complete and
made out of nicely grained wood with a silver collar and three
natural twine braided sections. The unusually long blade of 18” is
quality metal, but shows no pattern except for the hardened edge.
Original scabbard is intricately carved, but has a missing chip out
of the top, and one mother of pearl inlay missing. The MOP inlay is
most likely a later addition to the scabbard.
