PH810: Sulu Kris Sword

A good Tausug Moro kris sword with a 10 wave blade. The handle has intricately carved Mother of pearl plaques and woven brass wire. The blade is well forged, but does not have a separate piece ganja, and the two stirrups are made of silver. The original scabbard has an intricately carved top that has a chip missing on one side.     

28.5" overall with a 22.5" blade. Early 20th century, Sulu, Southern Philippines.    ....Sold
