A rare early Cambodian Mak stick sword. The wood handle has bronze fittings and a good patina from age and use. The blade is very thick and heavy with a well forged tip detail, and chiseled decorations near the base of the blade. The steel is oxidized quite dark from age. 31 inches overall with a 14.5 inch blade, ½ inch back edge. 19th or early 20th century, Cambodia. ....Sold |
