AF636: Mangbetu Sword

A fine old and Mangbetu sword. The finely forged blade is sharp on both the concave and convex sides of the blade, like a large claw. This unusual variation has an intricate forged base of the blade with two lugs and a trigger. The wood handle is undecorated and has a good dark patina from age and use.
