PH771: Moro Punal Dagger

A fine large and heavy Moro Punal knife. The handle has fine grained burl wood, good silver collar and solid silver hand guard. The large well forged straight double edged blade shows a slight pattern and hardened edge, but there is a little pitting near the tip. The original wood scabbard is entirely covered with silver sleeves.     

12 1/4" overall with a 7 7/8" blade. Early 20th Century, Southern Philippines.    ....$425.00
