PH822: Moro Sulu Kris Sword

A fine and rare Moro Sulu kris sword with a 17 wave blade. The handle pommel is made of carabao horn with a small shell in the end. The multiple original wrappings are in good condition. The finely forged blade has a very active pattern and a single iron stirrup. Unfortunately there is no scabbard for this one.    

25.5" overall with a 21" blade. 19th Century Sulu, Southern Philippines.
