AS623: Nepalese Kukri Knife

A heavy 19th century Nepalese Kukri with chiseled steel handle. The workmanship is very good with intricate foliage designs chiseled into the surface of the steel handle. The blade is quite thick and heavy with three hollow ground fullers, and a crescent moon on one side.     

16 inches overall with a 12 inch blade that is ¼ at the back edge. 19th century, Nepal.
