AF654: Flyssa Dagger

A good quality Algerian Flyssa dagger. This is a small dagger version of the much longer fighting swords used by the Kabyles people. The wood handle is covered with thin brass, and the well made blade has brass inlay designs. The scabbard is in good condition, and has a good patina from age and use.    

15 inches overall with a 10.5 inch blade. Early 20th century, Algeria.
